The scorecard
Credit stress by name
One row per hyperscaler, ranked by a composite stress score: the equity-implied spread against its own year, 30-day put skew against its history, capex as a share of operating cash flow, and whether free cash flow is negative. Reported CDS (from desk notes and terminals) sits alongside when we have it.

Implied spread = a Merton distance-to-default read (5-year horizon, 40% recovery) off market cap, total debt and 60-day realized vol. It is a relative and directional gauge, not a quote: the mega-cap equity cushions at Microsoft and Alphabet read near zero by construction, which is exactly why their CDS moving is a capex-payback repricing rather than a solvency one. Oracle is where equity already prices credit. Educational content, not investment advice.
