Sector Compass — the stretch lens on sectors, industries & factors
The 11 GICS sectors, key sub-sectors, factor/style tilts & fixed income · distance from trend, 2023-window stretch percentile, and the forward-return read from that location · 80 ETFs · Updated October 29, 2026 · 12:32 PM ET
The stretch lens on the tools advisors actually allocate with. vs 21/65/200d = distance from each trend (green above, red below). Stretch % = where today's 200-day distance sits in the ETF's own 2023→current range (low = washed out, high = extended). Fwd 21d = the median 21-day return (and win-rate) from prior days in the same stretch zone since 2023. Read distills it into a tilt: ▲ Add candidate (oversold with a positive reversion edge), ▼ Extended / trim (stretched high with a negative forward), ● Trending, or on-trend. Sorted washed-out → extended within each group. A positioning gauge, not a timing trigger.

How to use it. Pair with the concentration picture: when the cap-weighted index is crowded into a few mega-caps, the ▲ Add candidates are where the diversification opportunity is statistically set up, and the ▼ Extended names are where the crowding risk sits. Forward windows overlap (not de-clustered) — treat the sample as context. Refreshes every build.
